Hello everyone, Welcome back to JB's Blog. I have not been here in a long time but am back today to talk about my senior seminar class and the interview process of getting a job. In this unit what our class has learned has essential information that will help me, and others become successful after college. Learning this as a senior allowed me to develop a new perspective of what I can accomplish after I receive my undergraduate degree this Spring. This Thursday the Mount had a day off of classes due to SPARC day. SPARC is very new to me even though I've been in college for three years now. MY understanding of SPARC was for students to catch up on any work they needed to and also there were presentations throughout the course of Wednesday and Thursday on different social media matters. SPARC to me was not that greatly promoted and was only promoted through via email to me. I would hear teachers talk about different presentations that would be going on at this time, but when students mentioned it all I heard were the weekend activities the school was hosting. Friday night they had a big music festival at the PAC for students and the theme was glowstick night. Also on Saturday, the festivities kept going with activities during the day such as corn hole and different team events. With the nighttime rolling in on Saturday, the last event of the weekend ended with a concert.

Hello Everyone, Today I wanted to present to you all something I have been working on and possibly would like to come up with more opportunities now that I have this. The thing I have been working on is a logo. in the logo, we have Jalen Benjamin Sports talk. the reason I named it that is because on this page I really like to focus on sports in a broad aspect. my favorite I would like to talk about is basketball because I am a huge sports fan and basketball is really evolving as a whole in today's generation or any sport, to be honest. I picked a blue, black, and gold color scheme because this really represents who I am and I feel as if it grabs people's attention.
Today i wanted to talk about my career and a question that has had me thinking al my life is What do i want to be when i grow up? i know that might sound like a childish question even though i am in college, but this is a legit question because i am about to be a rising senior graduating and about to be in the real world. When it comes to a career after of college i have a couple of plans or routes i want to do. My first dream job when i get out of college is to get paid playing professional basketball whether it is in the NBA or overseas somewhere. Once i am making money professionally my plan is to make enough money to start a personal training workout facility where all sports and all ages can come workout. With my field of work i want to use my platform to workout kids who also have dreams of playing professionally and helping them in any way i can.
Hello everyone, \ This week i want to talk about public branding and how you should either be authentic could make or break your your online reputation. Being authentic is important in online spaces to me. This is because when giving off a first impression to someone either online or offline you want to be your regular self. If you cane off in any other way and then after a couple of conversations the people see the impression you give off is not the real you this could hurt your credibility. I also feel as if an online reputation is very is most valued for many reasons. one could be the reputation you have online could possibly connect you with many opportunities around the world not in only one central locations.
